“Life is too short for boring jewellery” – HOORAYYY to jewellery revolution!
You guys, I’M OVER IT. I’m officially over this 18K rosé gold diamond studs, my >I’ve-seen-it-on-every-person-in-this-town< make-a-wish bracelet and also all the other stuff, which I collected from several very innovative boyfriends and my parents. Well, once again I AM OVER IT.
I want something new, something refreshing, something cool – something that’s not similar to uniform dressing, cause we all know: maybe it’s a nice idea (equality and stuff), but it’s simply impossible, especially not with Jewellery. Earrings, Necklaces and Rings they are something so intimate, they accompany you all day, maybe even lifelong. So why waste this time with boring stuff and why being slightly disturbed when you realize I AM TELLING THE TRUTH and you have the enlightenment of your life RIGHT NOW?!
And not only I’m making you sane again, no I also have the answer for all your subconscious jewellery cravings: M A R I A B L A C K aka “what dreams are made off”.
Maria Black is the new Jewellery Line at Inked and a real MUST HAVE. I first heard of the Danish-Irish Designer about two or three years ago, and I immediately fell in love with the design, the materials and just the effective simplicity of her pieces. The success story of the #girlboss started with a Goldsmith degree and continued with (a fun-fact) an award from Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II, soon after this MBJ made it in the States and now is one of the global fashionistas favourite Jewellery Brands.
One of my personal favourites are the Helix and Orion Pieces – smooth but also massive ear cuffs, which play with the idea of a pierced look in both silver and gold, which is basically the best colour pairing of all time, as it expresses your sense for fashion and your inner rebellion against old fashion rules.
Also there are the very long Orbit Earrings, which are the perfect match with a simple white shirt and will make you feel like a modern warrior against Jewellery Mass consume. (LET’S FIGHT!)
And last but not least I want to introduce you the Hydra Earrings which is inspired by the ancient Greek story of a creature with many heads that grew again when cut off and at the end only Hercules could kill it. Well, that mentioned even if your personal Hercules hates the very sophisticated earring, get it. Wear it. Celebrate it. Because it’s basically one of the coolest pieces of Jewellery you can get right now.
That said, run to inked, quickly get your Maria Black pieces and become a jewellery Revolute! Because that’s what #inkedgirls are! <3
